This blog is a means of keeping my family and friends in Singapore updated of my life in London. All who visit are free to leave comments on my blog. However, please confine your comments to what is posted herein. I will do my upmost best to reply to them.
This is how it all began:
This journey to London to pursue the Legal Practice Course (LPC) - a professional course one has to take in order to qualify as a lawyer in England - arose out of a closed door. Initially, I was quite adamant to be going to Hong Kong to pursue the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) - similar to the LPC - in order to qualifty as a lawyer in Hong Kong. However, the university I applied to rejected my application in August 2006 - as soon as my Bachelor of Laws result were released.
Thereafter, while browsing through one of the brochures I had from a UK university, I realised that the closing date for application to the LPC for 2007 was 1st December 2006. That's where things started moving... I applied in November and was offered a place in February this year.
Since then, on top of the work in the office, I have been out and about meeting deadlines and fulfilling other administrative requirements. Time has flown so quickly that I can't believe that it all begins this Sunday at the airport.
Well, in this week leading up to Sunday, I will be - inter alia - meeting up with friends, finalising my packing and preparing for the adventure.
